What is it?

Telehealth consultation is an encrypted portal which enables us to take assessments and provide treatment in the form of exercises, education and self-management. 

How will it benefit me?

If you are self -isolating during this period and cannot make to the clinic, we are can perform telehealth consultation, where you have access to our trained physiotherapists at the comfort of your own home.

What's the research?

Telehealth as actually been around for a while! It has enabled medical personnel to provide services to individuals in remote locations where face to face consultations is a logistical challenge. There is evidence that telehealth consultations can be as effective as face to face consultations.

Who can benefit from Telehealth physiotherapy sessions?

A large range of conditions will find enormous benefits:

• Back and neck pain, headaches from exercising and working from home
• Starting a new home exercise program for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels
• Recent orthopedic surgery

What's the cost?

Lifeway Physio can offer bulk billed Medicare subsidized telehealth services from 30^th Mar 2020 (Monday to Friday, between 11am-1pm) Private health insurance rebates are available for telehealth.

How do I set up for Telehealth?

 For telehealth consult you will need:

•  a desktop with webcam or
•  a tablet or a smartphone and headphones with microphone
